This is an auction for the SONY MDS-JE510 MiniDisc Recording Deck PLUS a Portable PSYC NetMD Recorder, MZ-N420D, still in its original plastic case.
The MDS-JE510 is in excellent cosmetic condition, and works as it should, except when a disc is not loaded, the display goes haywire and shows "Welcome" and "Eject" alternately & will not turn off. Once you insert a disc, everything works fine, so I just always left a disc in there. It has seen very light use during the years, and is housed in a non-smoking environment.
The NetMD MZ-N420D is still in its original but opened packaging; I used this for only about 2 months and promptly placed it back in the packaging. It works like new, and all the original accesories are included. This unit could record and playback in MDLP (Long Play) mode, which increases a disc capacity to 2.5 to as long as 5 hours (on an 80-minute disc). However, any recordings on MDLP will NOT play on units not supporting the MDLP mode (such as the MDS-JE510). |
