• Insurance is mandatory for this item: $4.80.

Return Policy:

• Items returned will be tested by our staff: 1) If Found defective, buyer will be shipped a replacement unit immediately. 2) If found not defective, the item will be sent back to buyer.  IMPORTANT:  For non-defective returns, the buyer will be responsible for return shipping expenses in both directions.
• Confirmation is required before shipping items back to us.  Without our confirmation, items returned may be refused and returned to the sender.
• Items returned must be in the same condition as when the buyer received them.  All content must be included: original box (sub boxes), hardware, manuals, accessories, etc. 
• Initial S&H fees: are partially refundable; we will keep 25% of the total S&H cost.  However, buyer is responsible for All Return Postage and Shipping Charges.

• Warranty (60-day):  AR Electronics offer a 60-day warranty against all manufacturer defects. IMPORTANT NOTE:  this is an AR 60-day warranty.  It is not a manufacturer’s warranty.  After our 5-day DOA Guarantee, the buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses (both directions).
• DOA Guarantee (5-day): from the date that you receive your item, if the product is found to be defective you must let us know within five (5) days. We will replace the unit; If a direct replacement is not available, we reserve the right to replace your purchase with an equivalent or better model or provide a refund.
• ZERO Tolerance: outside of five (5) days, there is no compromise on shipping expenses for defective items.  To be clear: after 5-days, the buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses in both directions.

FAQ: What does ‘Opened Box’ mean?

 ‘Opened Box’ does not mean refurbished or that the product was previously deemed defective.  While the condition of these items may vary, typical examples of ‘Opened Box’ products include items that were display models, items used by a commercial dealer for advertising/photo-shoots or items previously purchased by an end-user and returned shortly after.

For example: the manufacturer attends an industry tradeshow where their products are showcased.  Once a sealed (factory-fresh/new) item is used for showcasing, the manufacturer will classify the item as ‘opened box’ when selling it back into the market.

Or,

A buyer purchases a unit and takes it home.  His or her spouse gets angry; the buyer returns the product.  The retailer must classify the item as ‘Opened Box’ to the next potential buyer.
