Beginning May 14th, 2007 we will be shipping via the new INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY MAIL SERVICE. Global Priority Mail is no longer offered by the United States Post office at that point. Please remember the tracking number you will receive is a static number, because the United States Postal Employees are NOT obligated to scan the packages at the point of origin. The new service is quoted as 6-10 business days, HOWEVER, if the item is held up at customs, it can take 2 weeks longer to be received, which is totally out of our control. If you need your item quicker, we will ship via DHL, which is quoting 2-3 days and provides a real time tracking number. The cost will be more, normally around $40.00 for a one-pound package. If you prefer DHL service please inquire for the exact cost to your country. Your phone number will be required for any shipments sent via DHL.

  The TI-84 Plus doubles the capacity of the Flash-ROM of the original TI-83 Plus to 480 kBytes. Other enhancements include a high contrast LCD, an integrated USB port for computer connectivity, an internal clock, and an available kickstand. The clock speed of the Z-80 compatible microprocessor raised to 15 MHz compared to the 6 MHz of the elder TI-83 products.

 The picture on the right gives an enhanced view of the ASIC that clocks the Z-80 microprocessor with 15 MHz and incorporates the RAM, USB-Port and logic.
 A component not easily detected on the printed circuit board (PCB) of the TI-84 Plus is the driver circuit of the LC-Display. It is just a bare chip mounted on a flexible piece of circuit board attached between the display and the main PCB.
The TI-84 Plus Silver Edition keeps the 1.5 M Byte Flash-ROM and 15 MHz clock speed of the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition but added colourful interchangeable faceplates to the redesigned housing.
The TI-84 Plus supports the TI ViewScreen™ LCD panel and the TI-Presenter™ with an additional adapter.
