| This auction is for a Motorola ConvertaCom model N1248A with a Motorola MT500 Radio installed. Clean former university property removed from service a few years ago when they upgraded equipment, it probably works fine, but I have no way to test this unit, so am selling it "as is". The holder has a speaker built into it, and may be compatible with other Moto radios, but of that I'm not positive. I don't have the key to release the radio, so you'll need to have one made if you want to remove it. $14 for Fedex shipping, quality packed & insured.
Thanks for looking and for bidding!
Paypal, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders & Personal Checks accepted. Personal Checks (including E-Checks) must clear before shipping. Items normally ship the next day, two at most, after payment is received. Buyer pays $14 shipping cost. I pack things right, wrapped & very well protected, check my feedback and you'll see that mentioned often. Most items go FedEx Ground, online trackable, insured to full purchase price. Payment expected within 7 days of auction end, unless other arrangements have been made Prior to Bidding, otherwise I reserve the right to relist & resell item, so if you are not prepared to pay within a week, then please do not bid. Thank you for your courtesy. I return all feedback received, sometimes it takes me a few days to update, but it will happen. For the extremely rare occasion (maybe once in the last 3 years) that damage occurs during shipping, it will be the responsibility of buyer to initiate and pursue a claim with the shipping company, normally Fedex.
Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then you can be assured they will ship that way. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with a known problem without mentioning it in the listing, but often acquire pieces that I either do not have the expertise to test, or do not have other equipment on hand required to perform testing, so sometimes I have no choice except to sell "as is". I try my very best to describe & show items in full detail, which basically means "what you see is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as cables, remote controls, software, etc., then it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions by email, just please ask before, and not after bidding. If upon delivery a problem is found that contradicts any statement made on auction and buyer decides to bypass a damage claim with the shipping company and instead return merchandise directly to me, then they will be responsible for return shipping cost along with a restock fee equal to 20% of bid amount, neither of which is refundable. I will then inspect and test merchandise and issue a refund if complaint is justified & serial numbers match. Items to be returned directly to me will only be accepted if I'm notified of such by email within 24 hours of delivery.
