Unit powers up and prompts for a screen touch and then goes into a demo mode. Seems to work but I am not familiar with this type of device and that is the only testing I did. I assume a memory card and pc cable are needed for initial setup - There is NO cable, NO memory card - Comes with owners manual and quick start guide - Software has not been stored properly and is scratched badly and may or may not load. There is a copy included but neither disc was tested. I think you can download the software from franklin.com/ebookman. The exterior is in good condition with normal faint scratches but is very presentable. Pic # 3 shows a scratch on the inside cover. The touch screen is in great condition. The stylus is included.
