You are bidding on an Onkyo Stereo AM/FM Tuner. Model: T-4000. I bought it 16 years ago in A & B Sound and still use it in my Sound room, This unit everything is working well, even if I use it in my basement, the signal is very strong. It is a Great sharp looking. All the printings are really clear and never came off.
It is multi Function Display, Fluorescent Frequency and Channel Display. Nice green color.
All switch or control ......working smooth and no any noise!!!!!
I am selling it because I am changed to using my Sansui 9090DB to hear radio.
The unit is made in Japan 90's early and very special model; The unit use low noise power transistor with low noise power transformer and great components, so the unit can get a lot of radio stations.
It is a Yamaha designed circuit and uses SANYO LC7030 IC to scan every single frequency. Unlike normal tuners which use PVC capacitor, this automatically adjusts to the correct frequency and is very stable. This entire unit does not use PVC capacitor. This is a unique strength.

The unit have 1 switch for power on/off; 2 switches to select tuning signal Up & Down; 2 switches to select FM & AM model; 1 switch for Memory touch, Also, this unit had 20 stations for your radio memory.
I just tested it, the report is: I power it on and look for light red with warm color; the display shows me 105.9Mhz and I can hear CBC channel with nice music. And then I touch TUNING MODE key UP or Down, the display goes up or down. Also, I touch the Memory key one time and touch keys 1 to 20; the signal can lock on to 1 ~ 20. Touching the 1 ~ 20 key again it brings back to the channel that I had in memory. This item uses a Elna Recharge capacitor to save battery to support memory, even take out the power cord and plus in the power cord again, the item still remember programmed radio stations, so this item working well with great design.
