829B is a dual power tetrode, and was originally intended as a pushpull VHF transmitting tube suitable even as a audio modulator: today is often used also for hifi audio amplifying (at its time it was a too expensive tube for this purpose!). There are actually on the market some asian origin amplifiers equipped with these tube: see for example the 2 x 30W audioromy amplifier that uses a pair of fu29, the chineese 829's clone. It is also very close to the 3E29 that is a 829b expecially intended for pulse operation.
These for sale are true original vintage new old stock premium quality RCA made in USA tube, not a actual made Chineese or Russian clone!!!
