You are bidding on a used Alpine 6-disc changer.
The changer is AI-NET compatible, so you will need and Alpine AI-NET compatible in-dash unit to hook it up to.
The unit power up fine, but I can't get the discs to load properly. The magazine is fine, the changer has some blemishes (a small portion of the door is missing, as you can see in the picture), the discs just won't load properly. I don't know, maybe it just needs a good cleaning, I didn't really feel like messing with it.
So this changer might just be for parts, it works fine except for the discs not loading properly. The will start to play, but if you move it a little bit it won't play anymore, so something is not aligned properly.
You will need an AI-Net cable to connect it to your unit too. They sell on ebay for relatively cheap.
I just don't want this anymore because I got a different one.
Oh yeah, if you do a little research on this model, I'm pretty sure it plays mp3/wma files, so you can use CD-Rs and CD-RWs in this, and it will play MP3 files, so you can load your CDs up with about 200 songs if you want to.
THanks for looking, any questions please ask I will respond right away!
