THE ANSWERING MACHINE SIDE OF THIS PHONE NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED. I PUT A CASSETTE IN TO TEST IT AND IT JUST MADE A CLICKING NOISE AND WOULDN'T MOVE. I OPENED IT UP AND I FOUND A BROKEN BELT INSIDE. IT DOES POWER UP AND SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO WORK, BUT IT NEEDS A NEW BELT. THE PHONE SIDE PROBABLY WORKS. I NO LONGER HAVE A LAND PHONE LINE SO I CAN'T TEST IT.
I HAVE A PDF. KX-T2427 SERVICE MANUAL THAT I CAN EMAIL IF YOU NEED IT.
