This unit can run around the clock for negative ion generation. The O_{3 /}Activated Oxygen generator has a separate control so it can be kept at modest levels. To remove major odors, the unit may be adjusted to a higher level for a period of time. Some customers use a separate timer to completely deodorize their home or office while away. Unused O₃ safely reverts back to O₂ in about an hour.
